And I have to say that I think Vaan, dumb as he is, is only the second Final Fantasy protagonist that I haven’t actively wanted to slap within the first ten minutes that he was on-screen. (Tidus was the first.)

i find Vaan strangely attractive, but i think it’s just cuz he thinks an itty bitty waistcoat is enough to be wearing while trudging around in the snowier areas in the game…
Hee. I like his snubby little nose myself, but I get distracted looking at… Well, I’m still not sure if they’re supposed to be his abs, or a chest-plate dealie that didn’t get painted. (I suspect it’s the former, though.)
Balthier, on the other hand… Mm-hm.
